    Executor Update
The following changes were made to Executor:
    • Crew Ability "Vader's Bounty" will stipulate at max rank (level 8) that Tank allies will take 50% reduced damage from out-of-turn attacks.
    • Special Ability 1 "Breach of Protocols" will now call all Bounty Hunter allies to assist. From level 1-6 of the ability, Bounty Hunter allies will deal -25% damage when they assist. At level 7 of the ability, the damage penalty will be removed and Bounty Hunter allies will assist at full damage. At max level of the ability (level 8 ) the ability will dispel all Tenacity Up from enemies, Bounty Hunter allies will deal +10% damage; if the enemy is Breached, Bounty Hunter allies will deal +25% damage instead.

And there we go. The first change is probably to make it so Rebels can't beat it anymore. The second is purely to make it so 7-stars have a massive advantage. They won't use their basic first anymore and having the executor go first just makes it easier to apply TL and breach after the tenacity up is gone.

With the Executor event coming back and a lot of people planning on getting theirs to 7-stars, a little public service announcement: do NOT upgrade We Only Need to Keep Them from Escaping to level 7. Keep it at level 6.

Why? Because at level 7, that ability grants taunt to the target unit if they are a BH. That is a very bad thing for mirror matches. If your capital ship loses the coin toss and goes second, it’s important to have that ability at level 6 so you can heal your Razor Crest.

The main strategy for a 6-star or below Executor to beat a 7-star is basically to use RC, HT, and XB as your starting three. Only attack the enemy HT until your XB takes a turn. You don’t want to trigger the enemy HT’s TM gain and taunt. So you can use your HT special, but only use your RC’s basic. When XB is up, target the enemy RC and call your RC to assist. This will apply breach and marked on the other RC. You take out their RC and that gives you a real shot at winning.

The catch with that strategy is your RC needs to survive. That’s where We Only Need to Keep Them from Escaping comes into play. There’s some chance your RC will get breached and marked, as well as being hit pretty hard. Being able to heal 50% health and protection can make the difference in having your RC survive, which is pretty much a win condition.

When your Executor is 7-stars and you lose the coin toss, it’s basically the same strategy to win. But if you upgrade We Only Need to Keep Them from Escaping to level 7, then the target BH unit gets foresight and taunt. The whole point is to keep your RC from being targeted, so it’s counterproductive and means a whole lot more RNG for you to come back at that point.

The video doesn't show relic levels, but I and I think everyone else who uses this strategy in my fleet arena has R5 Beskar Mando. That can matter a lot. I've barely survived a couple times and likely wouldn't have with anything less. So the RNG goes up as relic levels go down.
